Society is unrecognisable now, but if you have nothing useful to say then it is best to say nothing at all.
This week we were faced with another ‘ban the burka’ call and getting in on the act was the Lib Dem MEP Chris Davies.
And our ‘free press’ all decided to wade in with their own two pennies’ worth.
Isn’t it time we give the whole thing a rest?
Don’t people realise there are far more important things to ban?
Ain’t no woman with a burka urinating in the town centre after having 10 pints.
Ain’t no woman in a burka racing down my street music blaring disturbing everyone.
Ain’t no woman in a burka getting herself elected and then claiming taxpayers’ money for doing her garden.
Maybe we all need to realise there are in fact bigger problems in the world than a bunch of women covering their faces.
Hey, she wants to cover her face when she goes out in public.
It’s scary, it’s intimidating and it’s menacing... so are the ‘ordinary people of the UK’ in Big Brother but you don’t see people moaning about them.
As long she doesn’t pull a knife out or swear at me for no reason I couldn’t give a lamb curry.
And I kind of sense neither do most people.
Now, of course you will get the odd heathen destined for hellfire state: “Oh, he’s only saying that because he is a man.”
Well, I kind of have some shocking news for all those still in doubt – Muslim women are NOT weak and subservient.
This is the biggest lie ever invented.
All Muslim men know only too well that it is the woman who wears the trousers – or should I say burka – in the household.
Muslim men have been riding on this macho image for years.
I’ve got friends who revel in this fallacy but in private are not only under the thumb, but under the whole hand.
One of my mates has his whole wage transferred into his wife’s account and she gives him £20 to spend a week.
My mum ruled the house and her mum before her.
Now my wife is the boss.
On our seventh anniversary she wanted ME to wear the veil.
And finally, with the recent good weather I would very much wish I could throw the burka over some of the bodies on display.
I guess everything has it’s uses.
