Plans for Scare Kingdom Scream Park - the UK's newest Halloween entertainment venue - are now well underway.
The hardcore for pathways and roads have been delivered and, after a lot of hard work, it has all been laid in preparation for the park's opening later in the year.
Visitors who came to our sell-out Hex in the Harvest show last year will probably remember shivering under a marquee waiting to enter the terrifying open air cornfield attraction.
Not anymore! A new and impressive visitor centre has been constructed at Hawkshaw Farm Park which will make a warm and comfortable reception area for visitors to Scare Kingdom Scream Park.
As always Mrs Dowson will be on hand to serve helpings of her delicious ice cream as well as a range of other themed food delights - in the themed 'Creaking Cauldron Café'.
Last week the corn maize plant was sowed for the Dead Alive outdoor attraction; it's going to be the biggest ever planted at the location, covering almost 8 acres, and with all this warm weather the crop is expected to be gigantic!
Once we have filled the field with our many monsters and special effects it will be like a scene from 'Children of the Corn'!
Our artists have completed the designs for the cornfield attraction, Dead Alive, which will be set in a fictional ghost town called 'Strangleweed Hollow'.
Scare Kingdom visitors will have to make their way around spooky pathways and creepy buildings including a lunatic asylum and an old creaking farmhouse inhabited by a mysterious character named Old Mother Strange!
