Now values and law are a funny thing.
For example, I found it odd that a young man was recently sent to prison because he had painted and also sculpted several works of art so good, so perfect that the experts found them to be genuine 'lost masterpieces'.
They paid him massive amounts of public money in order to restore them to their rightful places in art galleries.
Only then did they discover that he has done them, and in more ways than one.
Now shouldn't the experts should have been found to be the frauds?
And the young man found to be a genius.
He's obviously a very fine artist and maybe it's his 'works' that should be in the Tate.
The sad thing is he probably couldn't get his legitimate work recognised, and the outcome?
The experts are still experts and the country has lost a fine talent.
