I can't believe that some people apply for a job, get it, and then start laying down rules they wish to work to.
We now have the situation where a girl at the checkout in a big supermarket wants to be excused serving alcohol, chemists who won't 'deal' with contraceptives and a dentist 'ordering' a customer to wear a head scarf.
We're so used to giving in to outrageous demands that we are losing all sense of proportion.
The answer is simply this - if you don't want to do particular work then don't apply for the job.
Instead get a job that is in-keeping with your ethics.
Can an employer really be expected to cater for all the demands and wishes of his workforce?
