FOR most people, it is the little things in life that matter. And it can be the persistent anti-social behaviour that causes the most anguish in communities.
Today we report on just such a problem.
In Nelson, a house has been raided by Pendle Council, and music-playing equipment has been seized because night after night of noisy parties have made neighbours’ lives a misery.
The house was on a typical East Lancashire terrace street, meaning the noise must have been unbearable for those living in neighbouring homes.
Anti-social behaviour blights so many communities not just in Lancashire but across the country.
Noise, vandalism, yobbish behaviour and abuse should not be tolerated.
The behaviour of these people has been appalling and people will be pleased to see police, councils and the courts taking tough action against them.
