A 41-YEAR-old woman was found collapsed at the bottom of a hill after taking a suspected drug overdose.
Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue were called to find the woman who was eventually discovered at the base of Brown Wardle Hill, near Whitworth.
Police officers located the woman around midnight.
But they required the assistance of the mountain rescue team.
By 4.30am on Thursday the team walked her to their vehicle and drove her across the moorland before paramedics treated her before taking her to hospital for further treatment.
