A dog walker with a broken ankle was rescued by Pendle and Rossendale Mountain Rescue team at 3.30pm on Friday.
The team was called to a field at the top of Greendale Avenue, in Newchurch, as paramedics were unable to remove the woman from the site.
She was strapped in to a mountain rescue stretcher and taken to the ambulance, and on to hospital.
