A ROSSENDALE road has been hit with a wave of criminal activity.
Vehicles and properties were targetted in Knowsley Crescent, Shawforth, between Monday, May 4 and Sunday, May 10.
Two garden sheds were broken into and a Ryobi strimmer, a Black and Decker strimmer, a Flymo electric lawnmower, and black and yellow tool box stolen. More than £500 worth of equipment was taken from both sheds.
Three vehicles parked outside properties in the road were also hit by thieves.
A passport and a flip front stereo were stolen from a red Vauxhall Astra between 11pm on Tuesday and 8.15am on Wednesday.
Between 4pm on Tuesday and 11am on Wednesday offenders also stole CDs and a Panasonic flip front stereo from a black Vauxhall Zafira.
A silver Saab 900 was broken into between 11pm, May 5 and 7am, May 6.
A pair of silver O’Neil sunglasses, and music CDs by Oasis, Madness, Linkoln Park, Greenday and Guns and Roses were also taken.
