HUNDREDS of people turned out to enjoy this year’s Rossendale’s Got Talent.
Eleven acts battled it out at the Riverside in Whitworth in front of a packed crowd, for prizes worth over £1,000.
Rachel Jones, event organiser said: “The acts were fantastic and it really does show everyone that young people in the Valley are talented and don’t all live up to the stereotype.
The judges were pushed to the wire before a making a unanimous decision in favour of samba dance troupe ‘Ecstasy’ who captured their hearts with a Queen Medley.
Ecstasy have now bagged a paid performance at the Whitworth Mayor’s Charity Ball 2009 as well as a professional photo shoot worth £900.
