A YOUNG dad who caused trouble at his ex-wife's home claimed her new boyfriend was involved in drugs, a court was told.
Burnley magistrates heard how victim, mother-of-two Claire Palin, had a personal attack alarm at her Shawforth home because Philip Taylor had previously attacked her.
Taylor was said to have been abusive and made threats.
The bench told the defendant they were considering making a restraining order and Taylor said he would welcome one.
Taylor, 27, formerly of Leavengreave Court, Shawforth, but now living at Salisbury Avenue, Heywood, admitted harassment without violence between August 30 and September 20 and was warned he might end up in jail. The defendant was bailed until November 12, for a pre-sentence report.
