ROSSENDALE-born DJ Andy Kershaw has been remanded in custody on the Isle of Man after admitting breaching his bail conditions.
The 47-year-old had been awaiting a court appearance next Tuesday, where he is due to face charges of breaching a restraining order against his former partner for a second time.
When he appeared in court earlier this month he was told to observe a 7.30pm to 7.30am curfew and not to enter licensed premises.
High Bailiff Michael Moyle also ordered he reside with his new girlfriend, Catherine Turner, at their home in Rhencullen.
Last month the BBC Radio 3 presenter was given a three-month suspended jail term after admitting harassing Juliette Banner.
It is understood that Kershaw breached his bail conditions by breaking his curfew.
Mr Moyle spared Kershaw a prison sentence on October 9 after he admitted causing Ms Banner and her new partner fear, alarm or distress on August 29.
He also pleaded guilty to drink-driving when he was stopped by police and was found to be almost twice the legal limit.
Kershaw initially spent six days in the cells when he was arrested for the harassment offence.
Mr Moyle said he took into account that the risk of re-offending was low when he imposed the term, suspended for 18 months. The High Bailiff's Court in Douglas heard Kershaw was "heartbroken" after Ms Banner, his partner of 17 years and mother of his two children, started seeing another man.
