PLANS for a luxury country house hotel in the Ribble Valley look set to be rejected after a raft of objections.
The proposals for a hotel and spa close to the A59, Gisburn Road, between Sawley and Gisburn, have been objected to by the parish council and 25 residents and businesses.
The plans, which have been recommended for refusal, were considered at a meeting earlier this month and have been deferred to the next planning committee on November 10.
Residents who objected to the plans listed over 60 reasons including impact on existing hotels and the impact on wildlife in the area.
