A RIBBLE Valley dairy farmer has become a moo-vie star.

Chris Bargh, who runs a farm in Osbaldeston, is being featured on the new film section of a dairy farming website.

Mr Bargh, who keeps around 180 cows on his farm, will be making an appearance on thisisdairyfarming.com.

The video shows the 39-year-old taking visitors on a tour of his farm, explaining how robotic milking works, as part of a DairyCo initiative to portray different dairy farming systems.

The father-of-two, who lives with his wife Erika, said: “Lots of people want to know more about how the food they buy is produced.

"Hopefully the video will give people a glimpse of the work we do to care for our cows and farmland.”
