ONE of East Lancashire’s busiest roads was brought to a standstill this afternoon after an overturned car blocked the road.
The A59 Longsight Road in Copster Green was blocked in both directions at Lovely Hall Lane near to the Yu and You restaurant.
The accident happened at around 12.30pm and the road has since reopened.
No-one was seriously injured in the smash.
