Ribble Valley friends remember Sandra
MANDY Pickering, of Old Langho, raised £2,454 with a ladies’ evening at her home in memory of friend Sandra Wilkinson.
Sandra died recently after a brave fight against cancer.
Mandy said: "We felt a ladies’ evening, where her friends could talk and socialise over a glass of wine, was something that would have just suited Sandra – and raising money for a good cause would be a fitting tribute."
The cash will go towards East Lancashire Hospice.
