A WOMAN campaigning against cuts to her local bus route is appealing for other people to get in touch.
Pauline Vaughan is leading protests against the cuts to the No.2 service from Blackburn to Warrenside Close.
Residents of the Warrenside Close area, including many elderly people, used to be able to get into town every 15 minutes.
But the private firm that now controls the network, Transdev, was not making a profit from the service and it now stops at the Brownhill Roundabout.
Hundreds have signed a petition against the cuts.
All that remains for bus users is a separate service, run by Lancashire County Council, every two hours.
Mrs Vaughan is hoping to hear from people affected by cuts in other areas to boost her campaign.
Call her on 01254 245709.
