ORGANISERS of a three-day music festival are hoping to build on last year's success and double the attendance this time round.
The inaugural three-day Beat-Herder Festival in 2006 drew in more than 1,500 music fans to farm land at Sawley, and event chiefs are hoping that figure is nearer 3,000 this time round.
With a large emphasis on dance music the event also mixes genres such as folk and electro-pop.
One of the leading figures behind the festival is Jamie Foxon from Keighley.
Mr Foxon, 27, said he and fellow organisers stumbled on the venue when they attended a car boot sale on the sife there a couple of years ago.
He said: "We're all music fans and we first saw the site we just thought 'wow'.
"The land is really good and so is access and because there is a natural amphitheatre created by the landscape, we are able to keep noise levels down.
"It's great to put on an event like this and not create a real disturbance to other people."
With five stages, acts booked to appear include dance music pioneers Utah Saints; electro-pop band The Whip and popular artist Jim Noir.
"The site lends itself to holding an intimate festival and we want to build on last year," said Mr Foxon.
Beatherder takes place June 29 to July 1 at Dockber Farm, Sawley. More information from the website below.
