Nigel Evans, MP for Ribble Valley, chatted to constituents in a village pub - during a surgery.
The Tory MP's meeting at the Swan with Two Necks in Pendleton, coincided with the Campaign for Real Ale's community pub week.
Mr Evans said: "Community pubs are vital to many rural communities.
"I welcome the opportunity to hold my surgery in a wonderful Ribble Valley pub."
