A TEENAGER who fell on to a railway track into the path of an oncoming train is expected to make a full recovery.
Reuben Hirst, fell 25ft and was trapped under a train after falling near Ramsgreave and Wilpshire station in February.
He suffered serious injuries in the fall, police said. And in a letter to parents, Bowland High, Grindleton head, John Tarbox, said: “Many of you will have read or heard about one of our ex-pupils, Reuben Hirst, who had an incredible escape when he fell from a bridge on to the railway line at Wilpshire. Fortunately Reuben is now on the mend after a number of operations and should make a full recovery.”
