A RIBBLE Valley primary school is celebrating after surpassing their fund raising target after replacing their roof earlier this year.
Waddington and West Bradford CE Aided School set a target of £7,000 after their Victorian roof needed to be replaced.
The school started fund raising in September to raise ten per cent of the total £70,000 cost.
They surpassed the total after holding a Spring ball and have now raised £11,000.
The extra £4,000 will be used to build a new kitchen at the school for the pupils to use during classes.
