A TEENAGE girl has been reported missing after failing to return home on Friday night.
Megan Pilling, 14, from Bacup, was last seen getting off a bus in Stacksteads after boarding a bus at Rawtenstall bus station.
Police have said that she was possibly in the company of a local man.
She was due to return to her mother’s address on Gladstone Street but failed to turn up.
Megan is described as being white, 5ft 1ins tall, slim build with blue eyes with mousey ginger hair which she wears in a ponytail.
She was last seen dressed in a pink hoodie with a purple hoodie over the top and blue jeans.
Megan is vulnerable due to her age and police are appealing to anybody with any information about her whereabouts to contact them.
Detective Inspector Jeremy Holland said: “Megan is only a young girl and we need the public’s help to find her.
“She is likely to be in Rawtenstall, Bacup or Rochdale and I would urge people to be vigilant and to report any sightings of her to police.”
Anyone with any information about her current whereabouts can contact Lancashire Police on 101.
