X FACTOR sensation Diana Vickers has not ruled out starting a relationship with fellow contestant Eoghan Quigg.
Diana spoke as she gave a ‘behind closed doors’ gig in Preston yesterday.
Eoghan said meeting Diana, a former Westholme pupil, was the ‘best experience of his life’.
Asked if he thought he and Diana might become a couple, Eoghan told this week’s Heat magazine: “It’s possible... maybe... or maybe not.”
He said: “She’s a really lovely girl and we have got a strong bond together. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.”
Asked whether she and Eoghan could become a couple, Diana told Heat: “I can’t say.
“It depends what happens. Right now I’m not going to think about anything like that.
“I can’t wait to see Eoghan more. I don’t know what’s going to happen.”
Speaking about her feelings, she revealed: “There’s a difference between loving each other and being in love. I love him to bits...”
Disputing rumours that she and Eoghan have been dating for the past month, Diana, who last week split up with her boyfriend, said: “I’m not a liar.
"I’ll tell him everything to do with me and Eoghan and I’d never cheat on anyone in my life.”
Describing fresh-faced 16-year-old Eoghan, Diana, 17, said: “People look at him like he’s a 10-year-old boy or something.
"He’s not, though, at all. He’s surprisingly grown up.
"He’s very mature. He’s sensitive and very caring and considerate.
"He can be very silly too, though.”
Yesterday’s gig at show sponsors Carphone Warehouse, Preston, saw hundreds of staff watch the teenage singer perform favourites from the show such as Michael Jackson’s Man in the Mirror, Blondie’s Call Me, Patience by Take That and the Dido hit White Flag.
And she said: was hopeful of doing a hometown gig.
Diana said: “Hopefully I’ll perform for my fans in Blackburn.
"We will see what happens but I want to do that. I have a week off over Christmas and I’ll be spending it with my family.
“I’m really excited because I have not spent time up here in ages, only about four hours in the last three months in fact.”
