WEIRD and wonderful creations were on display during the weekend's Higham Scarecrow Festival.
The huge collection designed and built by local residents included Shergar, Bob the Builder at a bus stop, a monk on a bench, a chimney sweep and a vicar.
Visitors to the Higham Scarecrow Festival followed a trail map picking out more than 70 entrants.
Festival chairman Terry Butterfield wowed the crowds with a helicopter and pilot effort in his front garden.
Pendle MP Andrew Stephenson was in attendance.
The event also featured a children’s quiz, garden flowers sale and a second-hand book sale at the village hall and St John’s Church.
An outdoor songs of praise was held on Sunday.
