DETECTIVES have issued a warning after three cars were stolen after owners left the keys in the ignition.

Vehicles were taken from three addresses across Rossendale.

Keith Sandham, watch liaison officer for East Division, said: “On no account leave your vehicle keys in the ignition when it is unattended, even for a few seconds.

“If you do and it gets stolen you may find yourself having a difficult conversation with your insurance company.”
