Head teacher appointment
ALBANY Academy in Chorley appointed a new head teacher.
Peter Mayland will join Albany Academy as their new head in September.
Mr Mayland currently lives in the Stoke-on-Trent area and will soon be moving to Lancashire.
He said: “It is evident the school is a confident and caring community in which all pupils thrive.”
