GREAT Harwood councillor Noordad Aziz has called on the Asian community to pull together to combat mental health issues.
He said: “Depression is an evil disease. It’s time it was taken seriously.”
Research has shown that attitudes towards mental illness in the Asian community can often make it a taboo subject.
