POLICE in Mellor took to the streets with schoolchildren to teach them about the dangers of speeding.
The officers from the neighbourhood policing team, withYear Six pupils from St Mary’s Primary, also wanted to educate drivers about the potentially fatal consequences over going over the speed limit.
A spokesman said: “Over a one hour period, seven drivers were caught speeding, five of which were asked questions by the pupils as to why they were speeding and the possible consequences of their actions.”
