It’s the talk of the town
THE next meeting of the Clitheroe and District Speakers Club will take place on Monday, April 20, at the Young Farmers Club in Lincoln Way, Clitheroe, from 7.15pm to 9.30pm.
A spokesman said: “We are a group of people from the Ribble Valley and its surroun-ding areas who all have the same aim: to become better at speaking before groups of people.
“Our fortnightly meetings usually consist of a mixture of prepared speeches and short impromptu talks.”
