Helpers are stars
A DARWEN community group praised youngsters who helped plant a fruit hedge last weekend.
Brian Cowen, of Friends of Square Meadow, said members of Blue Star Junior FC helped set 200 hedge whips of wild rose, hazel, blackthorn, elder and crab apple at the Holden Fold site.
