Get together for litter pick
SUNNYHURST Ward councillors Brian Taylor, Pete Hollings and Dave Smith were joined by Labour election candidate Will Straw and local children at a ‘Your Call’ litter pick on Crewdson Street and Queen Street, Blackburn.
It follows a similar event at Back Limes Avenue, East Park Avenue and Radfield Road last month where Bold Venture Scouts joined local residents, borough staff and councillors to remove rubbish. Cllr Taylor said: “This is a great way to come together to tidy the area.’’
