THE families of children at All Saints’ Church of England Primary School, in Church Street, Clayton-le-Moors, have been praised for giving up their time to listen to book-reading there.

A school spokesman said: “A huge thank you to those parents and grandparents who have volunteered to listen to children read, supporting us as a school to raise the attainment in reading across school.”
