Help to make ground lush
DARWEN Cricket Club will once again take part in the national Groundforce Day initiative on Saturday, where members and supporters pitch in to help spruce up league grounds nationwide ahead of the new season.
Chairman Graham Ainslie said: “Always productive and good fun, this is your opportunity to help make the ground look its best for the new season.
“Breakfast will be provided.
“Please lend us your support and bring along your brushes, hoses and painting gear.”
The work starts at 9am.
