Cancer fight receives £850
THE Civic Arts Centre, in Union Road, Oswaldtwistle, has been thanked for raising £850 for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The charity voiced its appreciation of “the generosity of the staff and the volunteers” following a murder mystery night that was held last month.
Chief executive Dr Jane Collins told the centre: “Your support will help us to continue to provide high quality nursing care to terminally-ill patients throughout the whole year.”
