Go, go see a top trio gig
THE John Ellis Trio will perform at Number 39 Hostar Brewery Tap in Bridge Street, Darwen, tomorrow at 9pm.
Organiser Gary Ward, from Darwen Music Projects, said: “John is one of the leading figures in the Manchester music scene both as a pianist and as a record producer.
“People still talk about The John Ellis Trio’s appearance at Number 39 last year. It was certainly one of my musical highlights of 2014.”
The trio also features session bassist Pete Turner and ‘Go Go Penguin’ drummer Rob Turner. Entry is free.
