ACCRINGTON high school, Hollins Technology College, said it was ‘aware’ there are a number of disappointed parents and pupils who have not been given a place there for the September intake of new students.

Headteacher Steve Campbell said: “Unfortunately, The school has no control over its intake and parents should call contact Pupil Access on 01254 220711 to discuss the waiting list. and ask to be placed on the waiting list, and also fill in an appeal form.”
