Police speed checks go on
BLACKBURN’S southwest neighbourhood policing team carried out speed enforcement in Mill Hill this week.
Officers said they were making tackling the issue in Spring Lane one of their main priorities.
A spokesman said: “It’s after residents raised concerns about people speeding in the area.
“Officers found people travelling up to 40mph in the 30mph zone.
“The team will continue to do this at different locations in the Mill Hill area.”
“Please drive safely and protect your community.”
