OLD-TIME fiddle and banjo music will be coming to Enfield Cricket Club next month as part of a special American night.
Last seen in the UK supporting folk superstars, Show of Hands, duo Matt Gordon and Leonard Podolak will play at the club on Saturday, August 9.
A critically acclaimed, five-string claw-hammer banjo player, Leonard has been a full time touring musician for the last 17 years, firstly with the band Scruj MacDuhk and then with the Grammy award winning The Duhks.
Matt, an impressive fiddler, harmonica player and dancer, toured extensively in the 80s and 90s with The Fiddle Puppet Dancers.
Tickets are £10 and the show starts at 7.45pm.
