A CHILDREN’S hospice is opening its doors to the public this weekend to demonstrate the specialist care they carry out.
Visitors will be able to experience taster sessions in alternative therapy used by Derian House, Chorley, such as reiki, aromatherapy and reflexology.
The care team will also hold tours of the house and lodge to show how they help families and terminally ill children across the North West.
The charity now supports more than 300 families who have a child or young adult suffering from a terminal illness and offer bereavement support to a further 200 families.
Attractions for the brand new event on Sunday, July 27, between 10am and 4pm, include donkey rides, and a craft fair
