VETERANS in Haslingden are bringing their art work to sell when they open a pop-up shop and hold an art class.

Members of Veterans In Communities, based in Bury Road, will be relocating the popular Friday art class.

The pop up shop, in the former Next shop in Mill Gate, Bury town centre, manned by veterans, will be selling pictures and prints that have been created by group members, many of whom find solace in art as an escape from the horrors of conflict.

There will also be outreach sessions held and anyone who is ex-service, including armed forces, police, fire or ambulance, is welcome to call in for a chat.
