AN 81-year-old man is still in hospital more than a week after suffering serious injuries when his car was involved in a crash with three vehicles and a bus stop in Colne.

The man’s silver Vauxhall Astra collided with a vehicle outside the Spinning Mill pub, in Burnley Road. He continued towards Colne, crashed into two other parked vehicles and finally came to a stop after hitting a bus shelter near Whitewells Drive. The man’s condition is not believed to be life threatening.
