THE organisers of the Ribble Valley Mod Weekender have announced a new act for the annual event.
Northern Soul band ‘Rambunkshus’ will be playing live on Saturday, September 27, at Clitheroe Social Club from 8pm.
The weekender, which will be held from Friday, September 26 to Sunday, September 28, will include live acts, scooter riding and merchandise and food stalls.
Venues include Clitheroe pubs the Rose and Crown Hotel, The Castle Inn and The White Horse and live acts like Heavy Mod, The Scandals, The Romleys and The Jam Collective will perform throughout the weekend.
Last year saw scooters travel in convoy from Gisburn, arriving at the Rose and Crown in Clitheroe town centre where prizes were awarded for best Vespa, best Lambretta and best overall scooter.
