Residents assured their views will be respected
BACUP Townscape Heritage Initiative has assured people their views on the plans for the town’s historic crossroads will be taken into account during future discussions.
It comes after traders slammed plans for the £400,000 revamp, claiming it will create traffic issues and damage the town’s heritage. Barry Hyde, chair at the THI Communications and Engagement Group, said: “The THI team would like to thank all those residents who attended Saturday’s THI shared space consultation.”
