Accolade as Ian is named year’s best
Ian Bevan, councillor for Rams-bottom, Shuttle-worth and Holcombe wards, has been chosen as Bury’s Conse- rvative Councillor of the Year.
He said: “It has been a tough year, fighting the anaerobic digestion plant in Shuttleworth and working hard representing Ramsbottom.
“I would like to thank my fellow councillors for their recognition, and also to the residents of Ramsbottom, Shuttleworth, Holcombe and Hawkshaw for their continued support.”
