FREE tickets for Ramsbottom Young People’s Project’s Battle of the Bands competition have now become available following a cash boost.
The contest for musical 13 to 16-year-olds, to be held at the Civic Hall in Market Place on Friday, July 18, is still in need of £100 to reach organisers’ £800 goal. Peter Cooper, who is leading the project, said: “We’re very grateful to Stubbins Community Trust who have made a wonderful cash donation to our project, and we have been successful in a very competitive field of applicants for Bury Council’s Small Grants funding.”
