TWO East Lancashire firms have won Queen’s Awards for International Trade.
Cycle luggage manufacturers Carradice of Nelson and Burnley-based plastic storage firm What More UK were two of 12 companies from the north west honoured.
The prestigious Queen’s Awards are rewards for outstanding achievement by UK businesses.
Clive Drinkwater, director of UK Trade and Investment in the north west, said: “As I have said on many occasions now, winning business overseas is vital for our future growth.
“The achievement of winning a Queen’s Award is a tremendous example for other businesses to follow.”
