A 29-YEAR-OLD man captured on CCTV causing trouble around Clitheroe town centre became abusive when challenged by police.
Blackburn magistrates heard Gary Place had been ejected from several pubs and was seen to punch the bonnet of a car which belonged to one of the doormen.
Place, of Pendle Avenue, Chatburn, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly and criminal damage and failing to surrender to bail. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay £80 compensation and £165 costs.
Gareth Price, defending, said his client was at a loss to explain his behaviour.
