Elderly resident left pan on hob
FIRE crews were called to a house in Dryden Street, Padiham, after an elderly resident had left a pan of meat on the cooker.
The heat caused the property to become smokelogged.
A neighbour managed to enter the house and remove the pan.
The incident happened at 2.45pm yesterday.
