Pupils welcomed
A SCHOOL is welcoming new pupils into the fold at special events this week. Darwen Vale High School is holding induction days on Wednesday and Thursday with an induction evening for new pupils starting in September on Wednesday, at 7pm.
The school will become an academy under the Aldridge Foundation after the move was rubber-stamped by the Department for Education, as reported in the Lancashire Telegraph on Saturday.
