Summer cider festival
TWO pubs in Burnley will be holding a cider festival during July. The festivals will take place at The Brun Lea in Manchester Road and The Boot Inn in St James’s Street, from Friday, July 11 until Sunday, July 27.
The pubs will each offer up to 24 ciders over the 17 days, including some never previously available in the pubs and others produced exclusively for the festival.
Robert Burgess, manager at The Boot Inn, said: “Cider is the perfect summer drink and I am certain that people will enjoy our fantastic selection. The ciders have been sourced from across the UK and there is something to suit all palates.”
