THE school kitchen at St Matthew’s is closing in two weeks for a complete refurbishment.
Julian Rogers, headteacher, said: “For the last two weeks of term children on free school meals will be provided with a packed lunch which will be prepared off-site and brought to school.
“Children whose parents pay for school meals will need to bring a lunch of their own for these two weeks. Fortunately this has coincided with the warmer weather so I think the children will be quite thankful.”
